About:

There will be two sessions throughout the day: 9:00 am to 12:00 pm will be for Family Child Care Providers and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm will be for both Parents and Providers.

From 9:00 am to 12:00 pm: The Provider portion of Symposium 2024 will be an educational event for Childcare Providers where they will have the chance to network with fellow providers and others from the childcare industry, and will also have the opportunity to set up a booth to advertise their program. Family child care providers will be given tips and tools about how their program can survive during this difficult time while continuing to provide quality care for our youngest friends in Alameda county.

From 1:00pm to 4:00pm: The Parents portion of Symposium 2024 will be a family fair for both Parents and Providers. With the information available at this event, Parents will be able to make educated decisions about what child care options may be most beneficial for their family. They will also get to make connections with local child care providers who offer before and after school care, as well as toddler and Infant care.

This event is being hosted by the Valley Family Child Care Association (VFCCA) , a Non-profit 501c3 organization serving the Tri-Valley and surrounding Alameda County
